What type of boats do you work with?
We work across all boat types, from sailing yachts to powerboats, motorboats and RIBS.
Do you have covers ready made, off the shelf?
No, our covers are all bespoke and made to measure for your boat.
Can I select my own fabric?
Yes, absolutely. We have literally hundreds of swatch books in our Showroom so feel free to come along and browse. Our experienced team will help you select the most suitable fabric for use.
Do you offer upholstery services?
Yes, we manufacture salon cushions, cockpit cushions, sunpads, folding seat covers, occasional cushions, cabin upholstery and foredeck cushions. We also offer upholstery services for your outdoor spaces such as garden furniture, loungers and even canopies for your outdoor areas.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, there is a 12 month warranty with every product.
Do you offer boat cover and upholstery cleaning?
Yes, we offer that service. It is based on weight so we will provide an estimate to you prior to go-ahead.
Do you offer any cover repairs?
Yes, we offer repairs and we can also critique your covers and make any recommendations. For example, is there any UV degradation to the canvas, seams or zips. We will give your cover a detailed review and provide a report back to you in terms of work that we recommend you have undertaken.
Do you offer any other services?
Yes, we also provide covers and upholstery for your home, garden and vehicle. Pop in to see us or email us with what you are looking for and we can provide an estimate.
How far in advance do I need to schedule my boat work?
This depends on the time of year. In the high season, when everyone is wanting to get on the water, we tend to operate an 8 – 12 week wait list. In the low season, such as the run up to Christmas and just after, it can be as little as 6 weeks.
How do I pay for your cover and canvas services?
We take a 50% deposit via bank wire transfer at the commencement of the project. Once the work is completed, we request the balance of the invoice. Once received, we will then undertake the fitting.
Do you have any client testimonials?
We are compiling a list of testimonials from a variety of clients. These will be uploaded to our website in due course.
Our Location
Where are you located?
We are located in Chichester Marina – in between the two Cafes overlooking the water. Enter downstairs and make your way up the stairs to our loft showroom and workshop. We are also located in Littlehampton Marina at Boat Shop. Find us on the right hand side as you enter the Marina and ask for Mark.
What geographical area do you cover?
We operate out of Chichester and Littlehampton and cover the main Marinas from Eastbourne to Lymington.
What are your business hours?
We work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Do you operate year-round?
Yes, we are a year-round business.
Do you open on bank holidays?
No, we are closed on bank holidays.
Is there parking at your locations?
Yes, you can park for free for up to 2 hours in Chichester Marina in front of our office. Simply take a ticket as you enter through the security barrier. In Littlehampton Marina, you can park in front of Boat Shop offices for free.
